Shalom Ministries of Whitakers, Inc. was established on May 17, 2006 by Pastor Gladys Warren, our founding pastor. Currently, our pastor is Pastor Mamie McWilliams.

Previously, our services are held at the home of the Avents at 37 North Whitfield Court, off highway 301 toward Enfield, NC. After a house fire that destroyed the building at 37 North Whitfield Court, we have held service in various spaces that were opened to us for church service. We have been having services online throughout the pandemic. Currently, we have service online and in-person in Rocky Mount, NC.

We are a small congregation, but we show the love of God to all people, reaching out to those in need, whether naturally or spiritually.

It is an honor and a pleasure to serve as pastor of Shalom Ministries of Whitakers, Inc. I want to thank God for blessing me and helping me to serve as pastor of Shalom Ministries for the past 10 years.

I thank God for all the help that He has given me and the ways that He has helped me to bring glory and honor to his name. To God be all the glory and the honor and the praise. In Jesus name, Amen!
